Well, I just logged in to see how it is but even a 5 to 5 fight gives lag.

Plus Turbine did not moved servers to Europe, we moved to a data center somewhere in New Jersey.

Very disappointing. The merger of servers give a lot of activity, but the rubber banding and lag increased compared to the old situation. Sad.

The word is, the server moved to New Jersey but will not move to Europe. Another broken promise by Turbine. It means that playing in raids is -for me- almost impossible. I have a 250/250 Mbps 2 ms latency fiber connection to the Internet and cannot participate in LOTRO raids! Really!

The merge made the server more crowded and right now there is another names war going on with the risk that even Fluffer will be reported by the famous name and shame server police.

The game is now more unbalanced then ever before. How about a trait for Warden to restore 50% morale and 50% power when morale drops below 15%? 35% increase in speed out of battle| Not to mention all other crazy add-ons.

Basically I'm pretty much done with the game and I get the impression Brunt has the same. But it still nice to meet up with other warg players and make fun of the fanatic freeps. Now and then because Star Citizen starts to grow on me and my flight skills get better and better. Take care, people of the GW2.

In this day and age that's pretty shocking. I still remember the last time i tried an evening in Ettens for old time's sake... Ugh, that lag...

Creepside always felt to me like the one allowed exception to Laurelin's naming policy (to a degree, a kin mate got reported and even suspended for his 'Bowjob' BA :D), but it's fair enough if it came to that imho. Better than having Laurelin completely lose the RP rules. My defiler Fishmongburz probably wouldn't make the cut either!

Well, Turbine are notoriously bad for balancing due to pvp being very very secondary, and wanting to sell store skills/trait to creeps and VIP memberships for OP freeps.

Sad to hear. I've been pretty much done for a while myself (though sometimes i log back in for a bit of PvE to see some of the new regions) but it's always a pity to see long-time players getting disenchanted by a game with so many great memories. No mmo lasts forever but i really feel LOTRO could have carried on better and longer with a bit of effort.

It is 2016. The first 4K games will soon be launched.

Turbine decided to merge server populations and promised the European players their servers will move BACK to Europe.

Then Turbines broke another promise and the new servers are located near New Jersey and will not move any further.

In the mean time lag in Laurelin's PvMP is much worse then on the old server.

So, with all the intelligence gathered in the company, Turbine decided to override and lower the graphic settings in PvMP.

How low can you go, Turbine?

I am backer and tester in Star Citizen. The game is in alpha status. Even the PvMP alpha plays much better then LOTRO, and on high graphical settings.

LOTRO is like Star Wars Galaxies. Going down the drain. Turbine is Sony Online worthy ...
